General Terms & Conditions
General terms and conditions
Swiss Ski and Snowboard School (SSSHY) and Swiss Bike School Hoch-Ybrig (SBSHY)
With the booking of a service offer, the guest accepts the 'General Terms and Conditions of SSSHY and/or SBSHY' for the reservation made by him - also for third parties. Unless otherwise agreed, the 'General Terms and Conditions of SSSHY/SBSHY' apply to all business between SSSHY/SBSHY and the customer.
Contractual relationship
In case of a personal booking on site, the purchase of a course ticket establishes the contractual relationship. In all other cases (telephone, SMS, e-mail, online reservation) the written confirmation by e-mail from the SSSHY is decisive for the acceptance of the reservation request.
The cost of the entire booking must be paid at the latest before the start of the first activity.
Lessons and courses take place in all weather conditions, except in the case of weather-related adjustments concerning cable cars and lifts. SSSHY/ SBSHY reserves the right to change, cancel or interrupt the programme or individual services after conclusion of the contract and also during the activity, if natural and/or weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances (closing of the cable car and lift facilities, force majeure, official measures and/or safety measures or other risks) make this necessary. No refunds will be made if lessons are cancelled for these reasons.
The SSSHY/SBSHY course ticket is personal and non-transferable. It does not include the use of the lifts, conveyor belts etc. There is no right to a refund or compensation for missed lessons due to the closing of the cable cars and lifts, and SSSHY/SBSHY will not provide a replacement.
Withdrawal from the contractual relationship
Cancellation of the booking by the guest is subject to a charge as follows:
Withdrawal from the contractual relationship in case of Private course
- Up to 24 hours before the activity -> 75% of the course costs
- On the day of the activity -> 100% of the course costs
Withdrawal from the contractual relationship for packages (e.g. Christmas and winter sports courses, Sunday courses, bike camps and all group courses)
- up to 20 days before activity -> processing fee for paid booking CHF 50.00
- 19 - 10 days before activity -> 30 % of the course costs
- 09 - 01 days before activity -> 75% of the course costs
- On the day of the activity -> 100% of the course cost
Payments already made by the guest will be offset against the cancellation costs. A credit in favor of the guest will be refunded to him in the form of a voucher.
In case of late arrival or early departure of the activity by the guest and/or a possible cancellation of the activity by the guest, there is no claim for refund by SSSHY/SBSHY. Each lesson or group course that has already started will be fully charged.
Prevention due to accident or illness
In the event of complete or partial prevention of participation in the course due to illness or accident, there is neither a claim for refund nor a right to make up for the course. The aforementioned cancellation regulations remain reserved. We therefore recommend a cancellation insurance.
Insurance/Liability
The guest is not insured by SSSHY /SBSHY. SSSHY/SBSHY rejects any liability for accidents before, during or after the use of a service offer. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the guest. We therefore recommend a cancellation insurance.
Group lessons
The lessons at SSSHY/SBSHY are given from a declared minimum number of 4 participants. If the declared group size is not reached, SSSHY/SBSHY reserves the right to adjust the teaching offer, to combine groups, to shorten the teaching time or to cancel courses at short notice. Changes of teachers are possible.
Picture material
The guest agrees without compensation that pictures taken during lessons or other events may be used by SSSHY/SBSHY.
Complaint
The guest shall address any complaints to the management.
Place of jurisdiction and choice of law
In addition to these 'General Terms and Conditions SSSHY', Swiss law applies to the contractual relationship. Place of jurisdiction is Oberiberg.
